About Interlude
We wanted to learn faster.
Nothing existed. So we built it.
Interlude was born from a simple frustration: over 100,000 minutes of educational podcasts, and still no fast, structured way for busy professionals to truly understand where technology is heading.
The problem we kept running into
If you care about technology, you probably listen to podcasts. A lot of them. The best ones are brilliant, but they share the same limitations: most are discussions about current news, interviews with founders, or conversations between hosts. They cover what happened this week, not the deeper frameworks you need to understand where things are going.
For developers and product managers who work with technology every day, that's fine. But for executives, board members, and founders who need to make strategic decisions about AI and technology without living in the details, there's a gap. A big one.
Books take too long to write and publish. By the time a book about AI strategy hits shelves, the landscape has already shifted. Podcasts are great for staying current but rarely give you structured, high-level understanding. Courses are either too academic or too shallow.
And here's the thing that kept nagging us: podcasts are monologues. You can't raise your hand and ask “Can you explain what RAG is and how it's different from querying a normal database?” or “What kind of project would actually use a knowledge graph in real life?” You just have to keep listening and hope the host addresses your question eventually.
What we built instead
Interlude is the source of fast, structured education on technology and AI. Each course is a curated audio briefing, not a rambling discussion. Focused chapters, clear frameworks, and the depth you need to make decisions with confidence.
But the part we're most proud of is what happens when something doesn't click. You raise your hand. The lesson pauses. And an AI-powered mentor answers your question by voice, in the context of exactly what you were just learning. Then you pick up right where you left off.
It's the interaction of a one-on-one tutoring session, the convenience of a podcast, and the structure of the best executive education programs, combined into something that fits into your morning commute.
Not a news site. Not a podcast. Not an ebook platform.
We focus on technology and AI, but our courses take a wide range of perspectives. Strategy, risk, decision-making, leadership, data, systems thinking. Because understanding AI isn't just about the technology itself. It's about how it changes the way decisions get made, teams operate, and competitive advantages are built.
We take the best parts of podcasts (audio-first, fits your life), books (structured, deep), and courses (curated, expert-driven), then power it with our AI mentor so you can make sure you actually understood the material and can apply it to your work immediately.
The world of technology moves too fast for traditional education formats. Interlude was built to keep pace.
